Due diligence
RSV Australia’s due diligence activities are carried out within the Project Management constraints of the Project disciplines, i.e. labour, materials, safety and environment. Generally, due diligence refers to the reasonable care that RSV Australia will have taken before entering into an agreement or a transaction with another party.
RSV takes all the precautions, reasonable under the circumstances, to protect the health and safety of workers. These include:
Offers to purchase an asset or to award a contract for supply of materials or the award of a supply and install contract are usually dependent on the results of due diligence analysis. This includes reviewing the appropriate financial records, the CV’s of key personnel, guarantee periods, availability of spare parts and anything else deemed material to the procurement of the asset or service.
Environmental due diligence during the initial phases of a project is usually the responsibility of the Client as the services of specialists needs to be employed.
